Is acupuncture covered by insurance?
Dr. Pi is a participating provider for several health insurance companies, including Cigna and Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield. But because coverage for acupuncture varies with different plans, you will need to check with your insurance provider to determine your eligibility. For any and all plans, Dr. Pi will happily complete forms for reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses. An acupuncture session generally costs $65 – $85; Dr. Pi will discuss your particular situation on your first visit.
